1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StampSwap ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Marketplace Only

StampSwap provides listings, search, messaging, offers, reputation, transaction records, and dealer-discovery tools. StampSwap is not a Federal Firearms Licensee, transfer agent, firearms retailer, broker, payment intermediary, or legal adviser. We do not buy, sell, possess, ship, inspect, transfer, or approve regulated items, and we do not process or hold payment for an item.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years old, legally permitted to use the Platform and possess the item at issue, a resident of the United States, and not prohibited from possessing firearms under applicable law.

4. Independent FFL Requirement

Every transaction completed through StampSwap must be reviewed and completed by an independent, verified FFL selected by the buyer. The transaction may not advance without that dealer. The FFL—not StampSwap—determines which forms, background checks, approvals, shipping rules, waiting periods, and handoff requirements apply at the time and place of transfer.

No party may ship, deliver, or otherwise transfer possession until the selected FFL confirms that doing so is permitted and all applicable requirements are complete. StampSwap does not represent that any buyer, seller, item, court order, exemption, or transaction is lawful or approved.

5. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for accurate listings, lawful conduct, identity and ownership claims, communications, off-platform payment terms, and following the selected FFL's instructions. Educational content and state references may be incomplete or outdated and are not personalized legal advice.

6. Listings and Prohibited Conduct

Sellers must accurately describe the item and must be able to demonstrate lawful possession and any required registration directly to the selected dealer. New listings must not include complete serial numbers in text or photographs.

The following may not be listed or requested:

• Machine guns or destructive devices
• Stolen, unlawfully possessed, unmarked, or unlawfully unserialized items
• Solvent traps, unfinished devices, or components marketed as completed suppressors
• Items whose seller cannot demonstrate lawful possession or required registration
• Items or transactions prohibited by federal, state, or local law
• Attempts to bypass the independent-FFL requirement or misrepresent eligibility

7. Payments

Buyer and seller arrange item payment outside StampSwap. We do not process, hold, escrow, guarantee, refund, or intermediate those funds and are not a party to the sale. Any payment provider must independently permit the transaction. Separate StampSwap platform fees, such as subscriptions or listing promotion, may be processed by a third-party provider under that provider's terms.

8. Transaction Documents

Platform uploads are limited to ordinary deal records such as bills of sale and purchase agreements. Do not upload Social Security numbers, fingerprints, government IDs, trust instruments, complete serial numbers, tax records, or other transfer-sensitive documents. Send material required by the FFL directly through the dealer's approved process.

9. Enforcement and Termination

StampSwap may remove content, pause transactions, or suspend accounts for suspected illegality, fraud, misrepresentation, unsafe conduct, harassment, or violations of these Terms.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, StampSwap disclaims warranties and liability arising from listings, users, dealer actions, legal or regulatory changes, payment disputes, shipping, transfer denial or delay, or reliance on educational content. Consult the selected FFL or a qualified attorney for current requirements.
