1. Information We Collect

• Account information: Display name, email address, and state
• Marketplace information: Item details, photos, pricing, descriptions, offers, and transaction status
• Communications: Messages, reports, and support requests
• Platform-payment information: Records about subscriptions or listing promotion; the payment provider handles card details
• Usage and security data: Pages visited, features used, device information, and signals used to prevent abuse

New listings do not request complete serial numbers. Do not place serial numbers or sensitive personal documents in listing text, photographs, messages, or transaction uploads.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide marketplace, messaging, transaction, reputation, and dealer-discovery features
• Send account and transaction notifications
• Moderate listings and enforce our Terms
• Detect fraud, abuse, and attempts to bypass platform safeguards
• Maintain, analyze, and improve the Platform

3. Sensitive Transfer Information

StampSwap is not the destination for IDs, Social Security numbers, fingerprints, trust instruments, complete item serial numbers, tax records, or other documents needed by a transfer dealer. Share those records directly with the selected FFL using the dealer's approved process. Legacy records created before September 2026 may include encrypted serial-number data and remain subject to our security controls and deletion processes.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:

• Other users: Public profile and listing information, plus transaction information needed for marketplace features
• Selected dealers: Basic transaction contact and item information needed to begin dealer coordination
• Service providers: Hosting, database, authentication, email, analytics, and platform-payment providers acting for us
• Authorities or other parties: When required by valid legal process or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the Platform

5. Security and Retention

We use access controls, encryption in transit, database security policies, authentication controls, and other safeguards appropriate to the service. No system is completely secure. We retain information as reasonably necessary to provide the Platform, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and protect users.

6. Your Choices

You may update profile information, manage notifications, request access or deletion, and opt out of marketing email. Some records may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, dispute, or legal purposes.

7. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management and may use analytics tools to understand Platform use. Browser and device controls may let you limit nonessential tracking.
